Lindsey Taylor is a Manhattan-based garden designer, floral stylist, and writer. Educated at Cornell and the New York Botanical Garden landscape design programs. She has served as an garden editor at Garden Design, Martha Stewart Living, and Domino Magazine, is a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal Off-Duty section, Garden Design, Rodale’s Organic Life, Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times T Magazines, Gardenista, and Phaidon. She co-founded the Evergreen Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to urban renewal and greenspaces in Toronto, her hometown.   

Taylor brings a keen stylist's eye to all of her garden projects. Her designs for residential and commercial clients in Brooklyn, Manhattan, upstate New York, and Rhode Island demonstrate her extensive horticultural knowledge, her interest in good design, her appreciation for the vision of her clients' needs, her sensitivity to setting, and her ability to bring a landscape to life. A well-edited color palette, interesting plant choice, and continuity with the existing physical structure and interior design are hallmarks of her practice.
